My mother in law Barb has an affinity for unique artwork, hand-crafted pottery and well made jewelry. When Scott and I were newly married I was invited to a jewelry party that Barb and her friend were throwing. This was a girls only party and an opportunity for me to make a good impression as the new daughter in law. Driving over my palms were sweaty as my heart beat rapidly.
